Photo of the Day - Sixty Seven

This is a photo that I love.  I've had it cooped up on my hard drive for a while, along with dozens of other great photos, that have all been pushed aside for my 365 project that, rest its soul.  This is an HDR photo of Jenne Road in Reading, Vermont.  The snow was blowing off the trees and through the air  in the sunshine, creating a soft haze.  I stood there for a good half an hour watching this scene repeat itself over and over each time the wind blew.  Its photos like these that make me love my camera :)

  2. There is a lovely tone brushing through the trees. Love the mood and composition.

  3. It must not have been too cold of a day if you were able to stand there for 30 minutes. Nothing like how cold it is tonight in Vermont or Minnesota. We had a wind chill warning this morning with wind chills reacing -35 below....luckily it supposed to work for on Friday and stay warm (in the 20s and 30s) for a week...I don't know what I'll do with the heat wave!

  4. This gorgeous! Would you mind doing a little how-to on HDR? Maybe in your spare time, ;) I've read a little here and there about it, but want to learn how to do it. I love your work, you are amazing.
