NEK Photography Goes Artsy with a Give-Away!

My favorite flowers of all time are blooming, daisies!  Of course they are a major photographic subject of mine, but I was growing bored with the same-old straight on view of daisy's.  So the other day I decided to get a little dirty, lay in the mulch, and photograph them from the bottom up.  Here is a straight -out-of-the-camera photo:


Then I got an idea... I saw this beautiful texture on Shadow House Creations and decided to create a colorful little collage of the daisies. So I got to cropping and processing and ended up with this as an end result:



Because I am graduating this weekend, my family is visiting, father's day is coming up, and its summertime I am giving away a large poster-sized print of this colorful daisy collage to one lucky person!  To enter please comment below telling me:

      Either my children or flowers also. There are just so many angles with both. And I love daisies! I need to get me some so i can photograph them.

      I love photographing people, especially the magical shots that capture an expression that only lasts an instant. Anybody can go and see a building or a mountain but its not as easy to see the emotions and expressions of people that you can capture forever through your lens.

      I love wildlife photography. I love the fact that you often only have a small window of time in which to capture an image. Sometimes it doesn't work at all, but occasionally you just get that amazing shot.

      GLAD TO HAVE FOUND YOU THROUGH SITS! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY! AS SOMEONE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE EXCEPT TRIAL AND ERROR, I ALWAYS ENJOY LOOKING AT PHOTOS TAKEN BY SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I DO HAVE MANY "HAPPY ACCIDENT" PHOTOS THAT I LOVE--THAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU TAKE ENOUGH PHOTOS! I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING BABIES' FACES CLOSE UP, DOORS, WINDOWS, AND TREES--WEIRD LIST?! CAN'T WAIT TO CHECK BACK IN ON YOU AND SEE WHAT YOU'RE UP TO NEXT!

      My favorite thing to photograph is anything that stands still. But seriously, I love taking flower pictures. I have a ton of pictures posted on my facebook page (Christa Good). I am also a follower of both of your blogs and a facebook friend. Thank you for posting all your great pictures. =)
