Photo of the Day - Forty

This photo represents how I feel about the season that is almost upon us.  I walked through our woods, collecting every reddish leaf I could find, and made this heart in a bed of pine needles.  The leaves are starting to change, already, and I am excited. Autumn is my favorite time of year and I am hoping to spend as much time as I can, even if its driving to and from work, with my camera.  Hopefully I will have lots of photos to share...

  1. I would love to live in Vermont. Fall is my favorite time of year and I'm so looking forward to getting out and taking photos of the foliage! We rarely get snow and it does not even start to get cold until the end of October. I'm so jealous! :)

  2. I look forward to drooling over your fall pictures. Someday I will make it to your neck of the woods in the fall. And I will bring along a dozen extra memory cards, and maybe my husband too.

  4. i am so jealous, and i know what i'm missing. while i don't particularly yearn for the snow shoveling or gray slush of my first 25 years living in the northeast, my hearts longs to be surrounded by crisp fall air on a clear day with a lovely breeze that sends the colorful spectrum of leaves skittering across the ground........ *sigh*
